Chip Shop Chicken, Chips & Gravy
Take comfort food up a notch with our Chicken, Chips & Gravy, Crispy Shredded Chicken piled over chip shop chips, smothered in rich gravy and finished with mushy peas, melted cheddar, pickled red onion, and chives for the ultimate savoury hit.
Ingredients
- HomeStyle Crunchy Shredded Chicken 100g
- Chip Shop Chips 200g
- Chives x 10g
- Pickled Red Onion x 20g
- Gravy x 200ml
- Mushy Peas x 50g
- Grated Cheddar Cheese x 50g
Method
Step 1
Cook the chips and HomeStyle Shredded Chicken using your preferred method until hot, crispy, and cooked through.
Step 2
Whilst they are cooking, finely slice the chives. Thinly slice the red onion and pickle it in distilled malt vinegar. Set aside.
Step 3
Once the chips are ready, place them into a tray. Sprinkle over the cheese first, then evenly distribute the shredded chicken on top.
Step 4
Ladle over hot gravy, making sure everything is well coated.
Step 5
Finish with a sprinkle of chives and the pickled red onion.
Step 6
Serve with mushy peas on the side and an extra pot of gravy.
