Introducing, Burgerhood… Where there’s only one thing on the menu, and it’s going in bread! Opened in July 2021, the trendy fast food eatery has quickly become a high street favourite, with Meadow Vale Chicken being a particular favourite among the punters.

We visited owner Veli Polatkiran at the takeaway to find out how our products are proving a recipe for success.

Half of all takeaways ordered in 2021 involved a burger, making it still the people’s favourite chow down choice. Research shows that serving a traditional consumer favourite (but doing it really well!) is better than filling your menu with a breadth of choices for the sake of it.

Veli told us about the struggles of opening the takeaway during the pandemic, but since launching in July, our hand cut, hand coated Homestyle range has become a number one seller to get the business booming:

“Covid delayed the opening of our new building by nearly two months, but thankfully we’ve been open for a month now and it’s been great."

“We use four Meadow Vale products and all four are our best sellers. Meadow Vale Homestyle Buttermilk chicken fillet burgers are what we sell the most, by far.”
