Meadow Vale foods - Your Partners in Poultry

Meadow Vale Foods, a leading supplier of value added frozen poultry products, is looking for a professional sales manager to help in export sales development.

Reporting to the board, the successful candidate will be responsible for growing sales across all product groups both from existing accounts and for developing new customers.

Knowledge of the foodservice distribution structure of mainland European countries is desirable as is a can do attitude and a healthy dose of ambition. We are looking for a proven winner who can take advantage of this great opportunity.

• developing established accounts, ability to sell a range of products
• researching own leads and converting into new, profitable customers
• researching, designing and executing market entry plans
• identifying opportunities and communicating these effectively
• analysing product trends and providing feedback for NPD

• ability to conduct business in more than one European language
• ability to plan on the road – extensive overseas travel is essential for this role
• proven sales experience and excellent customer relations skills
• commercial skills – experience in presenting and interacting with customers
• proficient IT skills for presentations, reporting, communications and information systems management
